Unfortunately we were unsuccessful in getting continuation funding from the Climate Challenge Fund. It had been our intention to extend the range of the project across all of East Renfrewshire and to increase the scope to include issues such as food production, recycling and sustainable travel alternatives.
While we no longer have a specific Powerdown project in East Renfrewshire, there is a still a lot of advice and support available to households and to businesses and community organisations on how to save energy including grants for taking specific energy saving measures.
